2015 TED Canopy “the Lions Marquee” is a collaborative project with 16 other students from 4 Universities in Vancouver, BC, under directions of the Vancouver-based architecture firm, Michael Green Architecture and a
non-profit industrial design based institution, Design Build Research Institute in Vancouver.
As a team, student participants
- developed physical and digital prototypes in SketchUp
- collected and analyzed existing pavilion designs and materials
- critiqued regarding the site, scale and possible materials
- calculated and order materials
- built and took down the installation at the Vancouver Convention Centre during TEDxVancouver 2015
